Hi Jose,

I've been working through the process to deploy the invisible captcha on both of my sites, and I wondered if it would be something that you could help in deploying through your software, to protect the site, since you already protect forms.

It seems like a natural to me. :-)

Cheers,
Louis

Hi Louis,

Joomla has that option in the core; that's why I didn't add it as a feature. You can set into the global configuration once the plugin (captcha or invisible recaptcha) is configured. Then it's used in any registration form.

I have a free plugin, the spam protection, that adds an extra layer of security checking some parameters against the stopforumspam database and also adding a honeypot in your forms.

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose,

I've been working on it. There's part that has to be copied into the header, and then a json file, and more that I haven't totally figured out yet.

I figured that the way you write to the htaccess file, and http headers, you would be able to do the same. One would still have to enable the plugin, and sign up with Google to get the ID, that could go into your software to bring it all together. It was just a thought!

Cheers,
Louis

Hi Jose,

That's great! If you feel it will add value to your products, and gain more customers by doing it, I'm certain that you would make it work as a valuable addition. If that was a $10 - $15 addon, numerous people might find value in it.

Cheers,
Louis
